¤ýProducts > Wireless Internet Billing Simulation & Verification Solution
BillSafer receives all UDRs (Usage Detail Records) from the existing billing system, analyzes them and monitors them. Also, it collects the raw logs generated by the service platforms (WAP/ME/BREW/WIPI Gateway, Multimedia Downloading Server, Streaming Server, CP¡¯s Contents Server, etc.) after completion of contents services, and then executes billing simulation for verification, which is then compared with the UDR for actual billing discrepancies.
The billing administrator can use BillSafer to view the billing results and categorize incorrect billing records by cause. The administrator can also view various detailed reports that contain data on wireless Internet billing and usage.
1. TAs(Transfer Agents)
TAs efficiently transfers the UDR in the billing system and the raw contents usage logs in service platforms to BillSafer for the purpose of verifying wireless Internet contents billing. The administrator can control the TA actions like start transfer start, stop transfer, and hold transfer. TAs also transfer the monitoring data to BillSafer for estimating the performance of the service platform or the billing system.
2. VE(Verification Engine)
VE contains a several important modules like logLoader, logInspector, logSaver, logManager, and alarmSender. These modules work together very efficiently for verifying billing-related data such as the UDR or the raw logs. VE checks for overlooked billing instances and double billing instances and analyzes causes for billing errors by comparing the billing simulation results and UDRs.
3. RS(Rating Simulator)
RS is an optional sub-module for the BillSafer VE. RS can be used to test the billing prior to launching a new contents service.
4. Web Site(BillSafer Web Site)
BillSafer Web Site facilitates viewing of all reports provided by BillSafer including processed UDRs, billing results by time, date, trends, etc.
